Witney's Fire and Glass Walk

2 April 2012

Witney played backdrop to a gruelling event on Thursday 29th March, as brave locals plucked up the courage to walk on fire and glass for charity Special Effect, raising a phenomenal £9.5k in the process. Witney-based businesses, residents, and just the downright mad took on the daunting challenge of walking 20 feet over shards of razor-sharp glass made up of 2,000 broken wine bottles and also over white-hot wood embers burning at 1236 degrees Farenheit, all in the name of raising money for superb charity Special Effect.
