Book a tableWitney was famous for its bread and beer, and The Blue Boar pays tribute to the town's heritage by representing these symbolic staples in the form of an excellent restaurant and bar.
Featuring Mediterranean-inspired food, traditional pub classics and modern British dishes, the Blue Boar menu flexes throughout the day from breakfast to lunch and dinner.
With its open plan theatre kitchen, customers can watch their food cooked from fresh to order. At the heart of the kitchen is the unique charcoal-fuelled Josper grill, which imbues an aromatic chargrilled flavour and aroma to fresh meat and fish dishes.
All our meat is of premium quality, 100% British and sourced from Aubrey Allen, who won 'Ethical Meat Supplier of the Year' three times. Our pork, chicken and eggs are all free range and our beef is dry-aged on the bone for 21 days to tenderise the meat and intesify the flavour.
Open all day for food, from breakfast until 12 noon, a lunch time menu available until 6pm, and an evening menu with more hearty dishes, we also have a daily specials board with fish dish of the day. We also have a children's menu and activity sheet, and can cater to a range of specific dietary requirements.
